Printing

Exponare Public can  generate an HTML document that can then be printed or saved or electronic use. Documents are based on Print Templates, that have information (such as your current map, information results, legend etc) added to them.

To print out a map:

1. Select Print in the Feature Detail Panel.
2. In the Print Panel that activates, choose a Print template from the Print Templates drop down list.
3. Change the scale of the printed map. For example, zoom to the selection or print the map at a certain scale.
4. Type in a title for the Map if required. All fields can be restored to their initial values by clicking on Reset.
5. Click on Print button to print the map.

Additionally, preset information have been added to the Print Template. These include Date and a map disclaimer.

Important Note: After the printing has finished, you'll find that a new Internet Explorer window opens up, you will have to bring it to the foreground in order to see the printed document.  

If you have made a selection on the map before printing, their data will be shown on the printed document. You can choose to hide these by clicking on the Hide Results button.
