Searches

Searches allows you to select features on the map by their attributes, rather than by their spatial location. A house number is an example of an attribute.

Searches can be performed through the main PCC's Online Mapping page.

After the map window loads, searches can also be run from the map window. Click on the 1st drop down list in the left Panel like below.

To activate select "Search", click on the 2nd drop down list and choose which type of search you want.

Searches available are:

Find an Appellation: Enter the legal description (not case sensitive) into the field, and click on Submit.

Find a Valuation Number: Enter the Valuation Number into the field, and click Submit.

Find a Road: Type in the full road name, in uppercase in the field, and click submit.

Find a School: Start typing the name of the school in the field, in the list that appears find the one you are looking for and click submit.

Find an Address: Type the house number and street name in the field. eg 16 Cobham Court. Click Submit.

Find a Reserve: Type the reserve name into the box. Note not all reserves have been named at time of writing these notes.

When you run a search Exponare will select features that meet the search criteria and display information relating to those features. In addition the map will change its zoom and pan to display all selected features.

The Reset button will return all of the fields to their starting value.

If no results matches your search a message will pop up on the bottom of the screen saying "No Selections Found."
